Life is good.
I am very fortunate to have wonderful friends and a great family whom I respect and love very much and I live two minutes from the beach in the vibrant city of Brighton and Hove.
I often walk over the rolling hills of the South Downs, which lie just behind the city, or cycle along the seaside cycle way into town.
I stay in, go out, read widely, play music - most types although not bubble gum pop.....well only sometimes!,
I socialise, visit art galleries and like to go to non-mainstream theatre and local live music gigs.
I enjoy supporting my poetry writing friends at their readings and like sitting out in the sun chatting with friends.
I always try to remember to take my camera, a Nikon Coolpix 7900, with me but, of course, sometimes just miss that great shot by having left it behind.
I am admin for a Flickr group - "Brighton & Hove rock - the real photographic deal" and really appreciate the interaction that has established itself between group members. Its great to get comments from these Flickr friends and acquaintances on my photostream and I know that everyone in the group really appreciates it when we each make some time to leave comments.
Thanks to each for kind comments on my photostream and for making Flickr an altogether richer experience.

Thoughts for today and everyday - Exercise compassion and take responsibility for the effects of your actions on others.

"Just occasionally a Photostream grabs my atention and this is one of them. Thare are (to me) familiar places very well captured in this set (Brighton and Hove), but I am also taken to far away places and soft landscapes across the Channel. A delight and a pleasure to view and technically good with it. I anticipate and hope for more."
