Before moving to West Virginia, Peak founded a graphic design studio in Washington, D.C. whose reputation was based not only on its effective designs, but its responsiveness to both its clients’ needs and their schedules. In addition to opening the firm’s doors in 1987 and operating it until mid-1993, Peak taught classes in computer graphics and graphic design, specializing in Quark Xpress®, Adobe Photoshop® and Adobe Illustrator®.
After spending four years travelling the globe by bicycle with his wife, Peak settled in West Virginia and reopened his studio doors, this time including photography.
Peak’s award winning photography and graphic design is a mix rarely found in contemporary studios. His photography has been published both here and overseas.
