Thanks for clicking by, checking out my work, and taking time to read this.

I started taking an interest in photography when I was 12. I remember when it happened too. I was playing around with my moms Pentax K1000 at a family reunion. My mother noticed me taking an interest and gave it to me. I still have it to this day along with 5 shoe boxes of film rolls. Although I don't use it much, I still cannot part with it.

Through the years I started going towards digital. Since my budget was tight I bought an Olympus Camedia X-2 with 5mp which was top of the line for compact digital camera at that point in time. It was short lived, a trip to Florida and it took a swim in the ocean.

I took a break from photography for a few yrs. Life was busy, to say the least.

I picked it up again after deciding to take a trip to Europe. I didn't want to carry a bulky camera around, so I shopped around. Finally, I decided on a simple Kodak Advantix camera, and splurged a little on a Sony DCR-VX1000. So armed to the teeth with with film I set forth on my adventure.

I started recording snowboarding tricks, myself and friends just going crazy. I had an idea to make a documentary. camera broke many times and I finally didn't have anymore money to put into it. So the mini dv's, still to this day, sit unedited.
My advantix camera gave up the ghost and I replaced it many times until one day I whipped out the credit card and bought a Canon 350d. I still have it and use it the most. I also use a Polaroid, but mainly when I am going to do something I know can end up disastrous for my Canon.

I know live in a little town outside of Munich. I mostly take pictures of plants and flowers or whatever peaks my interest.
