My name is Fred Delventhal. I am the Instructional Technology Corrdinator for two elementary schools in Arlington, VA.

We use this Flickr account to assist in getting the many photos and pictures that are taken at Barrett Elementary School out to as many people as possible.

The Flickr API allows our teachers to use the photos in many different ways that are not currently possible on our district's server.
As a part of our Internet safety protocol, students are not allowed to use the internet unsupervised and we pass this expectation along to parents for home use too.
