Books, check out my Amazon Wish list. No I don't want anyone buying from my list. It gives an idea of my likes. Used books, even not gently used, are great. Once I read them, they go into the call room for a while so others can get some use out of them.
Recipe magazines, especially with pictures. I have a ton of recipe mags and books already but always can use more to get ideas from.

I'm not great at making these things. I see stuff I like I forget to write it down. My kids also love to get stuff, even if it is mine.

The eldest and youngest are the most crafty. The middle guy is not. They all love legos. And video games. And outrageous stuff, skulls, etc. Think Edward Gorey family without the murder.
