I think that's what art IS... in any medium... someone else's ability to put the world on pause and make people think. Be it anger, loathing, joy, sustaining beauty, comfort... a rekindling of past memories... art is the catalistic for feeling. And that is exactly what Cassie's work forces you to do... to think and feel (which is such a rare gift). One cannot appreciate the elemental impact of her work without enjoying it slowly.
