My Dad, a biologist, brought me into a darkroom when I was at fifth grade. I have been attracted to photography since I saw the black and white magic appearing in front of my eyes. My biggest inspiration to be an amateur photographer started soon after my participation in Flickr. I signed up at Flickr after having my first SRL digital camera, a Nikon D40X, in April 2007. Soon after that, I joined the D40 Microstock group in Flickr and got turn down for my first submission to a microstock site. The rejection was my turning point for a true learning experience in photography. The process has been an “in-flow” fun ride for me and added a new dimension to my life. Flickr is a blessing because of people like you. Thanks to all of you on this site who bring so much joy into my life.

I 'm working on developing my unique style of photography. I want to use my camera when my head turns to beautiful landscapes and interesting people. I like images that express love for life and positive feelings. I prefer simplicity and my photo should have a clear topic of a subject, a pattern, or a color. I care for artistic expression at a given moment over historical documentation. Images that have less clear cuts between real and surreal impress me the most. I value creativities at shooting an image as well as at post-production.
