Quilting, patchwork and crochet are my favorite pastimes. I could spend all day, every day in my sewing room ... And very often, I do! These days I am working through a fascination with circle blocks in the "Camelot" quilt by Trish Harper, and the miniature versions of the same blocks in the "King George III Reviewing The Troops" sew along, here: cartulinas.wordpress.com/king-george-sal/.

I am also enjoying an exploration of color in scrappy quilting as part of the Farmer's Wife QAL.

I can honestly say that I love all types of fabrics. Even the "dreaded" batiks! In the right hands, every fabric can be turned into a thing of beauty.

That said, I do love the uber cool Japanese fabrics by Suzuko Koseki and Kumiko Fujita. Some of my other favorites are:

Tula Pink
Anna Maria Horner
Basic Grey
Cosmo Cricket
American Jane
Alexander Henry
Denyse Schmidt (Hope Valley)
French General

I love color and whimsy and clever combinations.

Traditional quilts in modern fabrics make me very happy. If you have a look through my favorites, you will find lots and lots of inspiration. Happy stalking!
