I am and always will be an enthusiastic amateur photographer. I have over 3,000 images and many collections of sets on my photostream and have favourited over 6,000 wonderful images in the last 4 years. However, after an initial, trouble-free and happy time on Flickr and more than 200,000 views to my photographs, I have made nearly all of my photostream viewable to ONLY my invited friends and family and have left all the groups I was in (apart for my 'home' group) from Nov.2010.
After the 'explosion' of apps and links to images from seemingly everywhere, I experienced malicious content on my photostream and I became disillusioned to the public's respect for asking for my permission before using my images.

Realising that I would miss all the pleasures of seeing all my like-minded friend's photography and contacts around the world if I had left Flickr, I decided from now on to manage my photostream more strictly through its settings and remain here as I started........a happy enthusiastic amateur photographer......:0)
