i am interested in challenging preconceptions about photography through the creative post-production of photographic images. i also use my photos and photographic segments in digital collage and mixed media works. the process can then be taken in a number of directions: for instance, rephotographing the resulting works and using those to create entirely new pieces; or assembling smaller works as transitional "metaworks" -- thus moving ever further from any photographic essence into new areas of post-production. i fragment photographic images, then recombine them with other media in an attempt to create unique statements.
