I am a novice trying to devour all I can about this medium. I love most art, in the form of words, drawings, painting, and my other love is music. Man has been in posession of two time machines throughout history, one is a song, the other is a picture. My dad was a photographer of sorts and I hung out with a wonderfully gifted photographer for a long time. Dads gone and the photographer disappeared; not sure where to or why, so I guess I'm learning everything on my own now. I took most of my photos with my point and shoot , which served me well and made me want to know and do more. so, I bought myself the Canon 30D a couple months ago while taking some photo classes. I am still in the process of learning the technical stuff, but what a wonderful thing it is..and yes, I'm still sleeping with it. I love looking at all your wonderful work, and find so much beauty...not of the commercial or manufactured varity, but there is beauty in most everything I see! And I am so inspired by some of you people. It makes me want to do as well, so I'll keep at it. Thanks for sharing your work.
