These photos were taken during the 1985-'87 NASCAR Winston Cup racing seasons while I worked for Griggs Publishing Company (Grand National Scene and Grand National Illustrated) in Concord, North Carolina, as a writer, graphic designer, and photographer. I was about 19 and a college student studying commercial art. It was my first real job in publishing and a dream-come-true to follow my big-time racing heroes from the inside. I have a lot more prints and slides but can't seem to find them anywhere.
