My photos and Videos are "Creative Commons" - All I ask for anyone to use them is easy:

About me: Single, male, born in 1956 (you do the math), with three dogs (Jimmy Dean, Link, and Frank) and I love photography. I take photos just for the fun of it; I just wanted to take pictures of everyday life, of the stuff I see and like.

I listed Chicopee Mass as my hometown, but actually I lived there only a month - my father was in the Air Force and I was born there. After High School I joined the Navy and since I got out I have been living in Virginia. I have been in Newport News since 1985 (in VIrginia since 1977) so I guess, technically, I should call Newport News my hometown.

I used the screen name of "Tobyotter" because it was a nick name I got in the Navy. We had a guy on my boat that could not say my name correctly becuase of his accent; so "Tony Alter" became "Toby Otter" - and in the service nick names have a way of sticking.

Also, I try to keep my photos family friendly - and try not to offend - if you find any of my photos ofensive - please let me know and I will see what I can do to correct the problem. I just want to share my world and what I find enjoyable, without upsetting anyone.

I am an avid collector of vintage photographs and RPPC.
