A British social entrepreneur living in Brazil. I work on a number of projects related to tourism (www.recifeguide.wordpress.com), to fashion and design (www.ethicaldesignlab.com) and to the arts (www.artistsagainstcorruption.com). On flickr I have several groups with photos relating to each. More details follow:
I founded Artists Aganist Corruption, an international multi-arts project to raise awareness of the fact that "Corruption is the greatest obstacle to reducing poverty" (The World Bank).
The project alraady has the support of Transparancy International - the global coalition against corruption (based in Berlin and with approx. 100 offices around the world). In support they said,
"“As leader of a global coalition in the fight against corruption, Transparency International supports the initiative of Artists Against Corruption. In expressing the link between corruption and poverty through music, theatre, dance, art, photograph, and other art forms, the campaign will make people aware that corruption is one of the biggest obstacles to reducing poverty. This initiative helps advance our mission to create change towards a world free of corruption."
