Welcome and thanks.

My background is literature, but creating images is an avocation. I can be inspired by anything, but I really like music. Especially tunes by Destroyer/Dan Bejar. I find that music inspires much of my work, and I hope you'll see it, too. I also dig Vonnegut, films by Kim Ki-duk, non-linear narratives, Gaudian architecture and trippy images.

Telling a story is my primary interest and objective, and I enjoy using a combination of location, costume and light to bring the trips of my imagination to photographic life. The strange and fantastic are thematic frameworks; mirrors, reflections, doors and shadows often are subjects; and the works of Tim Walker, Norman Rockwell and Hogarth have become sources of inspiration. Currently, I am working on a series inspired by the music of Annie Clark/St. Vincent.
