I'm an aspiring amateur photog that continues to get bitten by bigger and larger photography bugs. Thus my affinity towards this hobby grows.
I guess it started from my childhood watching my dad lug around a Nikon SLR that annoyed everyone because of it's size and perceived inconvenience. and the fact that he'd shoot in slides which made it an ordeal to look at them. Fast forward to my young adult life and it's been a progression in me finding and appreciating the fun in this. Always reluctant to embrace the SLR but continuing to be punished with missing a lot of what I saw and wanted to capture.
Well, with the birth of my daughter I do NOT want to miss a thing. That was the reason I needed to fully embrace this hobby and truly hone my craft. And so the cycle continues.
