Thanks for showing interest for my pictures, and since you found your way to my profile you probably want to know something about me as well.

I posted my first pictures to Flickr on16th of April 2007. Flickr has been very inspiring experience for me. There is so much creativity and talent among the members of Flickr and seeing all those masterpieces is very inspiring and makes me want to learn new things.

I have been living and working in Cambodia since 2001. I was there with my family, working in a Christian NGO (ICC). We were involved in the education sector, where one of our goals was to help various pre-literate ethnic minority groups to develop writing systems in their own languages and to build their capacity to become teachers, trainers, artists, material- and curriculum developers for their own communities.

Firm foundation in mother tongue enables more of the minority people to become literate and to be more succesfull when transitioning to the national Khmer school system and to function in the affairs of the country. I enjoyed the work very much!

We lived and worked in Ratanakiri province for a few years, but were later working from Phnom Penh head office.

Today we live in Laos. We moved here in the end of year 2009. I am working here as Programme Advisor for CRWRC and I am mainly involved in the area of improving educational opportunities for the ethnic minority people in Laos.
