Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I am blessed with beautiful landscapes everywhere I look. My goal is to bring back the beauty I see all around me both in nature, and in everyday life in the city.
I currently live near Seattle, Washington and will most likely stay here until one day when I move back home to Portland.
My work has been published in magazines and books including Outdoor Photographer & DigiPhotoPro and my images have been licensed for professional use by businesses across the US including Travel Oregon, the US Postal Service, The Portland Japanese Garden, Where GuestBook, Intel, and many others.
With friend and fellow photographer Zeb Andrews, I offer group workshops throughout the year in various Oregon & Washington locations and also offer private group or 1 on 1 workshops as well. If you have a question about any of my work please feel free to ask. I am not secretive about composition, locations, processing or anything else for that matter. Life is way too short to be worried about what other people think.
My best advice that I can give to any new photographer is simple. Keep shooting and try new things. Whether you like or dislike an image is not important. WHY you like or dislike the image is what matters. If you approach the way you view images this way...both yours and others, you will cut your learning curve in half, doing away with making needless mistakes more than once.
