Tito Livio scrive che Lucio Quinzio Cincinnato durante la Prima Repubblica di Roma, fu un console e poi dittatore tra il 460 a.C. e 439 a.C., ma dopo questi alti incarichi decise di ritirarsi in campagna per coltivare la propria terra.
Un amico anni fa mi soprannominò Cincinnato, non perchè ricoprissi incarichi tanto prestigiosi, ma perchè non appena posso fuggo dalla città e mi ritiro... in campagna a "zappare" il mio campicello, e godermi la VITA che mi circonda.
