My name is Linda Skarphéðinsdóttir and I come from Iceland but I at the moment (for awhile) I have been living in Denmark studying and now working as a teacher in alternative school for teenagers and then my "second" task is to train volunteers to work in Africa.

As you can see on my photos I love taking photos of people especially in developing countries where I have been working, because I think these people are amazing.. you can adore Angelina or Britney or who ever but in the end of the day.. I believe the people who are in the worst situation and making the best out of it are really the once too admire.
because they are strong and still appreciate the good small things in life which we here in Europe/America have forgotten 50-100 years ago.

so.. yes I have traveled a lot first on my own working in Kenya when I was 17 but those pictures are not here because they are not in a digital form. (might try to get them on digital form if I find the negatives over Xmas at home).
then I went again to Africa for 6 months to Malawi working in HIV project.
then I join kind of traveling school (teacher training college) which I went for a field trip to Asia, 6 months teaching practice to Angola and then I and my team mate went on our last year to Belize to help to start up Child aid project.
after my graduation 2008 I worked in a school in DK and we just came back from study trip to India.

so I would say my travels are work but I enjoy them.
