I am an entrepreneur although I began my career as a teacher. For the last 12 years I have published community newspapers. Currently, I publish an annual tourism magazine from my home and live with my husband, Eric and two indoor cats (Daisy and Baby - Annie recently passed away!) and two outdoor cats (Luna and Merlin) on a country property in Gimli, just north of Winnipeg, Manitoba. I am inspired by other people's photos and by the travels I have been on, which simply makes me want to travel more and take more photos. Flickr has opened up a world of possibilities for me, simply by the inspiration other artists on Flickr provide. I am blown away by the generosity and graciousness of the contacts and friends I have made since joining Flickr. I hope to continue to grow and learn from my fellow artists.
