To my amateur-photo peers: Please think before you HDR. I have seen so many otherwise good photos ruined by shitty tonemapping.
...A good way to tell if you've done it badly is to look in the photo's comment section. Count the number that have sparkly GIFs and/or generic "Awards" from vague-sounding groups. If there are more than two of these things in the comments, that means your photo is attracting a lot of tacky people with no taste. I trust you can draw the appropriate lesson from this experience.

One last bit of negativity: I won't block anybody for having bad taste or stupid politics. However, if you make me your "contact" or fave my photos - but have nothing visible on your profile - I will happily block your account. Don't be a dick. This isn't a one way street.
