Originally from Wisconsin, I got married and moved to the Highlands of Scotland in 2003.

It's lovely over here but I miss (yes, seriously) the crazy weather of the Midwestern US (over here it's all mild, mild, mild, all the time). I WANT SNOW AND THUNDERSTORMS! :)

Luckily there are lots of photogenic and historic places here, tho, so I can satisfy the photographer *and* historian sides of me. I can also indulge the Blythe lover in me, and I combine all three interests by taking my petite Blythe, Poppy Violet, as well as all her Petite & big sisters, on trips so they can pose at famous places.

I have my degree in History and English (minor: French), and have also studied Studio Art. What a great and practical combination, eh? :)
