Three years on and I am still enjoying photography from my first introduction to the camera's world and to flickr.
I have met many friends here and have had a great time learning and seeing lives transformed by this community.
I still use my fuji finepix 9500 and have started editing a little in photoshop and I now use picassa too.
Am learning not to be a slave to wanting technical perfection. Just happy to enjoy, and while I still want to learn, some of my photos have been memorable, not because they are technically great pictures, but it is what I have been able to do with some of them that counts.
So come and have a wander here. You will find countryside, sky, flowers, my dog and all sorts of places and things to glance over.
Above all, you will find in these pictures my character, what I care about and what I hold dear.
Come and be a friend. You will be warmly welcomed.

One of my pictures has been published in www.schmap.com/guides/oxford September edition, 2007. Also one of my flower picture is shown on www.mecnita.com
A new addition to www.Nowpublic.com is one of my Christmas photos taken at a church christmas festival.
For 2009, my Zero Tolerance for Women is now in the spring edition of the Source magazine from the Women's Resource centre.

"What better way of celebrating Helen's Birthday ~ than to write the long-overdue testimonial she deserves !
Helen introduced ME to Flickr.com, three years ago . . . and our membership of this amazing community has proved to be a life-changing experience.
Helen asked countless questions in her eagerness to improve, as a novice photographer . . . and she has made such strides in the last two years, that her work has now been published in various media.
She welcomed one of my Flickr-friends into her home ~
Leslie-Hu from Taiwan, on her first holiday with me in the U.K. and has become one of my closest local friends in Norfolk.

I am now planning to retire to the Philippines next year, to spend my final years with a wonderful community of people ~ who were completely un-known to me, until Helen had introduced me to the joys of Flickr.com.
Flickr.com is one of the finest organisations in the World, for sharing Love and Peace among its many nations . . . and Helen has entered into the spirit of everything it stands for.
Thank you, Helen, for changing MY life, and many others !!"

"I met Helen on Flickr almost a year ago. Helen has shared the world around her as well as her love of family though her wonderful photo stream. Helen has a great eye for perspective as seen in her travel and nature images. Thank you, Helen, so much for being such a wonderful flickr friend; I feel truly honored to be counted amongst your contacts."
