I am a 49 year old former elementary school teacher and librarian. I worked in the public and private schools in Albuquerque for 20 years. My career was cut short due to a sever illness(es) that I have placed me on disability and have changed my life dramatically. I have become homebound much more and bedbound(my own word).

I have nieces and nephews that I just love to death and spend as much time with them as I can. I love planning creative experiences fr them and then do them with them when we spend time together.

I have a great Mom, who I liv with because I can't live on my own, who is my primary caregiver. My father passed away some 6 years ago and I still miss him everyday. I have 2 sister and 2 brothers. I am the oldest in the family.

I found out about Swap-Bot through an artist who I receive regular e-mails from. The site sounded interesting and so I went and explored and shortly after exploring etc., I was hooked. I have really enjoyed the ATC swaps, cardmaking swaps, long-term swaps where each month builds upon the last month, and swaps that have stretched me creativity. I have also really enjoyed being able to spread random acts of kindness though this swap site. I have met some really nice people and that has been a blessing since my world is pretty much my home and often my bedroom.
