Photography has been my great passion for the last few years, and flickr a great medium for sharing the photos and getting inspiration from very talented photographers. I'm using both analog and digital equipment, Yashica MAT being my favorite camera, even though I mostly shoot with the excellent Nikon D700 (with full-frame I can finally use exclusively primes!). I also do some lomo- and holga-graphy (I'd like to do much more of this).

I've also published a google maps extension (mapplet) available here if you want to take a look -- it allows you to find flickr photos from any area you're viewing with google maps.

Professionally I'm a software engineer living and working in Switzerland (Valle Verzasca, Ticino). I'm also doing a personal project on the beautiful Verzasca valley (at www.verzasca.net/.
