I was born in 1967 in the town of Chelmsford which is right in the centre of the beautiful county of Essex in the south east of the United Kingdom and I've lived in this wonderful historic town ever since so that makes me an unashamed Chelmsford enthusiast, so you will find many local photographs in my photostream. Also you'll find my cats 'Charlie and Freddie's together with anything else that interests me in particular anything to do with the weather, trains railways, cars, signs and local history.

I'm not interested in the quality of photographs only the subject matter in them. Please feel free to leave comments on any of my postings. All my own comments and notes will all be about the actual event or places within the photograph so please no advice on how to improve my compositions etc 'cos I aint interested.

Any scans of Magazines, car brochures or postcards are my own items and have been scanned on my scanner and not ripped from elsewhere on the internet. If I think they're in the Flickr interest regardless of what they are I'll post them.

All photographs in my photostream are location geotagged where appropriate and the correct date as near as can be that the photograph was taken is listed.

I've also been given access to hundreds of old and new photographs taken by David, a colleague and friend of mine and i've been given kind permission to post these in my photostream for your enjoyment.

Please note: if you wish to link any of my photographs on an external website that's fine. Please copy and paste a clickable link back to the original flickr photograph page you wish to use.

I have now stopped the download of original file size and use of the HTML code of the photographs and due to some people abusing this method and claiming some of my stuff as their own particually on photo montages on YouTube. If you would like a full size JPEG instead of a pasted link for your website please flickrmail me and i'll send you the file (but please photo credit and copyright to me and a clickable link back to the original photograph as per flickr rules)

If you have anything that I class as pornography in your photostream or favourites please do not comment or favourite any of my photos and do not add me as a contact. If you do I will block you. This is non negotiable.

I always like the traditional Essex village signs and Chelmsford 'before and after' comparisons, but my favourites are probably the burnt out and rusty cars. Long may this photostream flourish."
