I am a self taught photographer and I’ve been taking photos in my spare time for about two years, it’s just a hobby but hopefully one day will be my full time job self employed of course.

I like taking photos of anything colourful, eye catching and different, I'm still learning but am having heaps of fun. I really love my wide angle lens and my new B+W ND filter, I’m still learning how to use it but I love it.

My other great love is snow boarding, it is recent but very addictive, so hopefully that will take me to some amazing countries, Japan, Canada and many others where the photo opportunities are endless.

Here’s a quote I found in a book I have that I think is fantastic, unfortunately is does not say who it’s by….

“It is well known that photography means “writing with light”. However, that is an understatement on a scale equal to saying that literature is simply “Writing with a pen”.
Photography means so much more than that.
To contemplate the true extent of its social reach and cultural impact is awe-inspiring.
