Welcome to those who have stumbled upon my offering of photos which show the places and interests in my life that I most enjoy, and you will also see, that I love being an Aussie.

Most of the Orchid photos and flower photos are from my own collection and garden. I have been deliriously involved in plants and gardening, literally all my life, thanks to my Dad and Mum, and Grandparents all sharing their passion with me.

Living on the Central Coast, of NSW, Australia, many of my photos feature the wonderful beaches and bushland of that area. I also, have taken a lot of photos around the Northern Beaches area of Sydney.

I hope that you enjoy the visions I have to offer , and it is with joy that I have seen many other people's great works, that are fantastic to see,

Best wishes and happiness

"After a 6 month break from flickr I'm back and so happy to see that Rod has continued uploading his wonderful photos. I especially love his flower macros and his shell macros on black are simply magnificent! Not to mention his photos of Sydney which bring back so many childhood memories for me. Besides being very talented he has stuck by me in my times of trouble and has been a shoulder to lean on like a true friend. Thank you for being there for me Rod and thank you for sharing your work."

"Rod has an artistic eye which instinctively allows him to capture beautiful photographs. Being the flower-maniac that I am, after seeing Rod's photos I'm hooked on visiting his photostream. Apart from taking some of the best flower photos I've seen on flickr he is one of the most warmest, friendliest and kindest guy I've ever been in contact with through Flickr. Keep taking those lovely shots! I want you to know I'm your number one fan!"

"Rod is one of the authors whose pics are always empowering with their colours, ideas, objects. Flickr time in the flickr world is totally different from the reality, so I feel happy because I know once I can see your pics again and again.
i am impressed pics of beaches, shores. You have really special camera eyes on details in the architecture, nature, flora(plants macros...amazing), fauna. It brings our details and colours of sky, sunrays, rocks, plants, animals(I adore sleepy koalas), fish, esp sharks...prrhh Rod has introduced the whole country, culture, people and things as a warm host. Colourful impressions are guaranteed..I know, if I never have a chance to see it in real, I will enjoy your pics and imagine...Great chance for everybody to do that. Have fun and enjoy flickr!!!
    With Baltic greetings
