I'm a big, really big, mustachioed middle-aged gay man living in San Francisco.

I have other galleries scattered about... what's on here is mostly just my mobile phone camera pictures -- many of which are taken on the fly and are not great artistically, or technically.

I studied (fashion) photography at college, but became a geek. I also seriously thought about becoming a cop, and still wonder if I should have.

Despite being very liberal, and being frustrated by the professional deformations of law enforcement, I have a tremendous respect, you could say awe, for the spirit of service that mostly underlies the decision to put their lives on the line to protect ours.

Perhaps understandably with my background in fashion photography, I like to look at sturdy men in uniform and contemplate how that combination projects the heroic nature of their job. I only wish cops would go back to wearing moustaches.

Oh, and did I mention that I'm single?
