Thanks for stopping by to view my photography!
I'm a globetrotter, German of origin but home to wherever I live, which tends to be Iceland, Norway or Germany. My life pretty much centres on nature and conservation - and, of course, my greatest passion: old-fashioned landscape photography. Im also totally hooked on northern lights and, since the eruption of the unpronounceable Icelandic glacier Eyjafjallajökull, on active volcanoes.
My pictures are always done in one shot. I don't do HDR or tonemapping as I don't like the unrealistic outcome. My postproduction work is limited to the typical standards of raw conversion, levels and curves. I try to show nature as I experienced it: in an slightly artistic but still realistic way, as close to as it looked when I shot it.
