My name is Michael Hansen, I'm a semi professional photographer that has been in love with the mountains and fascinated with wildlife for as long as I can remember. Love to visit the local National Parks( Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite), they offer many scenic views and lots of opportunities to view wildlife!
Day hiking, backpacking and of course photography are some of my favorite activities.

"Michael Hansen has been a great friend and photographer since we first met on our 2002 Yosemite, North Dome backpacking trip. Since then, we've hiked and photographed many other places.
A few years ago, I started having trouble walking. On one Yosemite day trip, Michael moved his truck closer so I could capture my 'Yosemite Valley Storm', while I was siting in the truck!
