"People in the pictures say my camera is as much a part of being with me as other aspect of knowing me. Its as if my hand were a camera. If it were possible, I'd want no mechanism between me and the moment of photographing. The camera is as much part of my everyday life as talking or having sex. The instance of photographing,instead of creating distance, is a moment of clarity and emotional connection for me. I use a canon 5D mark ii - 50mm f/1.4, 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 lens. a Nikon F65 film and a Pentax MG 35m film.
