I document my life with a camera... probably afraid that someday I will forget everything, therefore needing to rely on my photos to remind me of the great life I've lead.

Aside from general documentary shots, I do love the truly artistic side of photography. I love photographing things with interesting patterns and texture. I also love to photograph interesting architecture, children, dogs, churches and oddly enough...cemeteries.

I first began taking pictures at 14 with my dad's old Minolta x-700 (circa 1981) which I still have. After nearly 10 years of using the Minolta I upgraded to a Nikon N80. Over the last seven years I have entered into the world of digital, beginning with a Kodak LS443. In April 07 my husband and I purchased a Sony a-100. We are having a lot of fun with it!

I joined Flickr as a way of sharing my life through my photos with my friends and family around the world. Personally though, I enjoy exploring the depths of Flickr. I love to look at other people's photos, gaining inspiration and seeing things and places from a different perspective.
