Photogaphy has been more than a hobby for me for more than 4 decades. (I started very young) Occasionally friends and family have asked me to shoot weddings or similar, which I've been happy to oblige.

History
As a teenager, I was heavily into the processing thing with black and white and then colour prints, but as you get older you realise there's more to life than working alone in the dark. Once I got married (30 years ago) I gave away the enlarger, tanks and lenses and just concentrated on taking pictures.

I bought my first digital camera, Canon's A75, in 2003. It would have been earlier if I could have been convinced that pictures could be as good with a reasonably priced digital camera as my trusty Olympus OM10. The results from that point and shoot were excellent.

I got myself the Canon EOS 350D (Rebel for the US readers) in August 2005 and have just upgraded to Canon's EOS 60D. I love Canon's cameras and lenses!
