I am 31 years of age. I live in the shadow of Devil's Peak, Cape Town.

I work in CG, currently trying to find 3d related freelance work , and also doing brochure and website design.

I am not a photography purist, I see photoshop as the modern dark room and will use it to get the effect I am after. I do draw the line at taking away more than dust and scratches or adding subjects to the picture, but messing with colour temperature, saturation, sharpness and contrast is fair game. I am also a believer in cropping as long as most of the picure survives.
Perhaps these editing rules will change when I get better at taking photos.

Currently I am using a Canon eos 400d with 18-55mm lens. Some of the pictures posted where taken with a Canon IXY. I also have an oldish Pentax SLR film camera and have recently acquired a really cool 1960's Exacta Varex iia and can't wait to get it serviced and take some real pictures.
