"Sara's stream is a wonderful place to be. It's special because it's not so much about beautiful photography (although there's plenty of that), but rather she's sharing her life. Whether it be epic Michigan landscapes, intimate documents of the people she loves, her cats or dinosaur shaped sandwich thingies ;) there's always a strong sense of her world through her eyes. Her work can often be really fun/funny and yet even these images are made with such warmth & generosity they're never superficial. When she points her camera at herself, she does so fearlessly, making self portraits that are often more about what's going on inside than out. I guess her 'Where I Stand' set sums it all up nicely. That set reminds of the film 'Being John Malkovich', and this stream is like that portal on floor 7 1/2. Here's hoping the movie 'Being Sara Lynn Paige' never reaches it's credits ;)"
