    "I wish I could take photos like julian does! My favourites are his gorgeous landscapes and the closeups of his yummy creations. Perhaps he could send some of those creations over? ;)"

    "If I remember correctly, Julian and I bonded over a food photograph...and so the Flickr friendship between us began. I have recently described Julian as "Mr Walking, Talking, Cooking Encyclopedia Extraordinaire"- but he is truly more than that. His photographs are an inspiration to me, especially his photographs of landscapes in and around Shropshire. Julian does something magical with his camera and it makes this city girl want to "go country" -even if only for a day or two! (mud can so ruin a girl's new shoes ;- )) Julian's witty repertoire and knowledge keep "me on my toes" and I always look forward to reading his comments. oh yeah, and the boy loves his chillis!"

    ""A++++++++++ Smooth transaction! Great ebay-er!"

    Oh wait. Wrong site.

    Julian seems to like chillis. A lot. Really a lot. He also takes nice photos of them and posts wonderfully witty comments on my photostream which I look forward to immensely. My life on flickr has become far more entertaining since Julian came upon my photos.

    Er, that doesn't sound quite right... what I mean is... what I meant to say was... oh where's the delete key?

    Oh bugger."

    "He's hot stuff. I look forward to his wry comments and lovely photos. Although I've sadly never met him in person, from what I know his main interests include chillis, food, nature, chillis, wildlife, his partner, Han and chillis. I've even learnt about the heatometer (he'll tell you the proper word) for measuring how hot a chilli is compared to another. He makes me laugh - a lot. He is invited to Frühstück with me any time he likes, but I won't offer him a hot drink - he "doesn't like the cut of their jib". Oh, and his food doesn't make me sick!"

    "Julian,
    I do like your pictures of food - they are refreshingly different, as well as technically excellent in many cases.
    With my weight and lack of will-power, I am just glad that I can't eat them!"
