40 years young, from the Black Country in the West Midlands, UK.
Got my first SLR (a Nikon F60) back in 2001 which sparked an interest in something more than just taking snapshots of family & friends.
Purchased a Canon A95 a couple of years ago as I was tired of lugging an SLR around with me, and had become disheartened with the processing skills of Boots the Chemist.
This turned me onto the possibilities of digital but outgrew the thing after realising it's limitations. I really got the bug at the start of 2006 when I brought a Nikon D70s: I can't put the thing down and everything seems to be a photo opportunity (this perplexes friends & annoys my wife).
My 40th arrived in 2011 & decided to celebrate making it this far with a Nikon D7000 - currently enjoying the high ISO action...
