I am living an unconventional life at the moment. I live in Kunming, a medium-sized city in Southwest China. Here I am deep into my study of Mandarin Chinese. I am also teaching English. It's a good life.
I have a bachelor's degree in history from Harvard and a master's degree in geography from Penn State, and I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.
