Just 'D''s photostream

About Me: Hi, my name is 'D'. I'm smart, independent, funny, and I love to laugh. I love movies, listening to music, watching TV, reading, or goofing off on my X-Box. I’m kind of a Jack of All Trades, but a master of none.

Equipment: I recently made the move from my Pentax K100D DSLR to the Nikon D60, if anyone has any advice or tips, feel free to share.

About my photos: I'm still new to photography, so right now I take pictures of whatever catches my eye, however I tend to prefer human subjects (which usually drives people nuts). I’m hoping to take some digital photography classes at some point. But until then I’ll just keep practicing. Keep checking back to see what's new.

Random fact: I’m a World of Warcraft junkie and I love playing Guitar Hero, Rock Band, or Call of Duty: Modern War on my XBox 360.

Favorite Books & Authors: Non-Fiction: Peter Bergen and Robert Kaplan. Fiction: Tom Clancy, and Harold Coyle. I also like some of the classics like Poe, Shakespeare, and Kerouac.

Favorite Movies, Stars & Directors: OK, I'm into all types of movies, but I tend to lean towards Action, Sci-Fi, and Anime. Some of my favorite films are Aliens, Akira, Jin-Roh, and The Seven Samurai.

Favorite Music & Artists: I listen to pretty much everything, but some of my favorites are The Cure, Blink-182, Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, Iron Maiden, Ludacris, and George Clinton.
