I have been married to my husband Wayne for 38 years..we have 2 sons...Todd and Gordon. Gordon is married to Deona and they have blessed us with 2 grandchildren...Nevada Ann will be 9 years old the end of January and Colby Tanner will be 7 in March. Todd is at this time unmarried. I just have to say our granddaughter and grandson are amazing children...their love of nature and animals reflect our own...so much fun to view these beautiful wonders through their eyes. I always tell Gordon, they are the reason we had him...lol....he agrees. (I also have a great sense of humor as you will see)
I am very much an amateur photographer but I try to better myself with every shot I take. I deeply love my family, the outdoors, nature, animals....I am truly amazed at all Nature has to offer when we just take the time to enjoy it and LIVE it! I know I am very fortunate to live in an area where there is a plentiful supply of wildlife etc.....I am greatful for this and take full advantage of it. Most of my shots are taken right here in my own yard but love to go "out and about" in nature.....sometimes I wait for hours or even longer to get a shot and sometimes I'm lucky and something will jump out in front of me! You never know...Mother Nature can be tricky!
The people I have met here on Fickr are wonderful, caring, and beautiful individuals. I love viewing and commenting on their photos and appreciate it when they do the same to mine.
I am a Licensed Family Child Care Provider and have been for the past 16 years...I retired in July of 2008 to pursue my love of photography....I must say I looked forward to that with great anticipation, however, at this time I plan to re-open my Child Care business as I missed my little kids and can't wait to have them back.
