I am a 21 year-old Secondary Education,Social Studies major at Shepherd University in West Virginia. I'm mostly interested in politics, hockey, food, music, education and technology, though I am a novice in the world of technology. In regards to politics, American foreign policy and educational policy are my main interests. I’m a big New York Rangers fan. I enjoy cooking (and eating) various types of food, but Tex-Mex is probably my favorite. Music I enjoy includes country, classic-rock, classical, jazz (big band) and most anything else aside from rap/hip-hop and most “pop” music. In the world of technology I am (obviously) interested in blogging, however I am also a recent PC-to-Mac convert and am also interested in digital photography. My other interests include American history, religion, the natural/organic food movement and health/nutrition.

I am currently a (third year) student at Shepherd. After I finish my degree, I hope to teach in Northern Virginia or the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. I also plan on obtaining my Masters degree in Educational Administration and/or Curriculum Development and would ultimately like to enter educational administration at the middle or high school level.
