In terms of photography, my main interests are:
- candid documentation of events with family and friends
- playing with cool experimental techniques like shaped bokeh and tiny planets (see linked sets for my related endeavors). I use the software "Hugin" to make tiny planets.
- food and nature photography

I use:
- Canon EOS40D
- Canon 430 EXII flash
- Lenses: Sigma f/2.8-3.5 17-35mm, Canon 50mm AF USM f/1.4, Canon 100mm AF USM f/2.8 Macro
- Canon G10 (which also accepts the 430 EXII)
- 13" Macbook Air 2.13GHz+4GB
- Adobe Photoshop CS4
