I am a fledgling jewelry artisan. I have been making items for a couple of years, started making ceramic beads in 2007 and now am attempting ceramic buttons. I don't think there is anyone in my area that makes ceramic beads/buttons. I chose ceramic because I like the earthiness of the medium and the stunning glazes. I love making unique pieces with different materials. Nothing is more fun than to make different combinations of beads and findings. I am focused on marketing to the working woman who is looking for an added touch! Since I am over sixty, my creations reflex a more mature approach but are definitely NOT old lady style.
