"I like to visit Duane's photostream, especially when buried in work, because it's like a mini-vacation. Seeing him get closer and closer to the perfect tube photo is almost like trying for the perfect ride (a thing that I don't try to do enough anymore!). Some people just take pictures. In Duane's photos, I see the carefulness and the striving for something better, something different, something to make people like me keep coming back to see what he's doing now. "If I were stranded on a desert island and could only bring one thing, it'd the Swedish Bikini team.

If I could bring three things though, it'd be a blonde, a brunette, and “Oh, Snap!”'s photos. His photos remind us of why we love life and this beautiful planet, captured with a skill and stillness that lasts for ever. When I am down, I only need to surf his Photostream and for a moment in time, I can perhaps feel a sliver of the emotion he felt when he opened the shutter.

Besides... bringing his pictures to the island would give me something to eat."
