According to Lucien Clergue, photography 'means "writing with light". If you realize that the first Big Bang which created the Universe was "The Light", then photography was born with the Earth! So important, but we had to wait until Niepce and Daguerre to fix it on paper. I am afraid that the evolution of technologies will take off the manual aspect of it, too easy to do with the computer. I still work with the silver process, black and white or colour, and enjoy it more and more every day!'
Unfortunately, I haven't seen the inside of a darkroom in well over 10 years now ...
