Me and photography have become closer buddies over the last couple of years. Photography is good for my soul. Focusing on something and really studying it through the camera lens is invigorating.

Flickr has been a rewarding pastime. I have to admit I initially started with Flickr because it's a Yahoo! property. I felt obligated to use it because I was working for Yahoo!. But once I started discovering how many truly talented photographers/artists are sharing their photos I became increasingly intrigued. Now I eagerly click around looking at what others have created. I learn a lot simply by checking out others' photostreams and understanding how they achieved their shots.

I'm still in the very early stages of finding my photography style. I don't think I really have a signature look and feel to my pictures yet. I'm kind of all over the place. Lots of "snap shots" surrounded by a few better-thought-out pictures. My style will reveal itself with time.
