I am new to this whole world of photography. I loved it for years as an art, to be created by others and admired by me. Finally, I got the notion that I wanted to be behind the lens creating my own stuff. I don't call it art because I am still learning. Ask me in five years and I don't even know if I'd call it art then. I have never been so bewitched by a hobby or interest. My family hates it because I am always pulling out my camera and looking for that next great shot. Mostly I keep shooting and sometimes I get lucky.
I shoot with an Olympus Evolt E-500 for most things. Self portraits are primarily taken with a webcam (this accounts for the terrible quality).
