I've been taking pictures since the late 1950's. And I still have all those images.

My photo blog, All I've Seen, has many more images, and I'm feeding them a few at a time to Flickr.

I grew up in New York City and the suburbs of Long Island, lived in Greenwich Village from 1964-68, and moved to Berkeley California in 1968. That's why there are many pictures from there.

I lived in London in 1973 and again 1977-78. And my first visit to Ireland and London was in 1966. That's why there are a lot of London images. There have been many trips to Europe since then.

All my photos were taken with Nikon cameras: Nikkormat, Nikon F, Nikon FM, Nikon F2, Nikon N80, Nikon E3100, Nikon D80.

I am now (12/2010) using a Nikon D7000.

The earliest film images were shot on Anscochrome (post-war GAF), then Kodachrome and Ektachrome, and finally Fujichrome. The slides were scanned using a Nikon LS-40 ED scanner. Post processing is with Lightroom 3.

I see in color and find black and white images depressing. But I keep trying.

Some of my images have found their way to CD covers (Cold Blue Music, New World Records), book covers, and bio pics (Abbie Hoffman, Phil Ochs).
